And there is nothing wrong with rewarding yourself for a job well done — but what would happen if you rewarded someone else instead? JDi Data is continuing our commitment to continuously thinking of others with our 12 months of Giving blog series.

This month our featured charity is Stop Hunger Now organization, an international hunger, and relief organization that coordinates the distribution of food and other life-saving aid around the world. JDi Data’s Client Services Manager, Bill Sileo participated with 100 other volunteers to package 10,286 meals!
What Is The Mission?
The Stop Hunger Now mission is to end hunger in our lifetime by providing food and life-saving aid to the world’s most vulnerable and by creating a global commitment to mobilize the necessary resources. The assembly process combines rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables, and a flavoring mix including 21 essential vitamins and minerals into small meal packages. These meal packages are shipped around the world to support school feeding programs and crisis relief. The food stores are easily transported quickly and have a shelf-life of two years.
