From fancy cars and expensive clothes to fine dining and exotic vacations, there are many ways you can spend your hard-earned dollars. And there is nothing wrong with rewarding yourself for a job well done — but what would happen if you rewarded someone else instead? JDi Data is continuing our commitment to continuously thinking of others with our 12 months of Giving blog series.
This month our featured organization is the University of Miami’s Momentum2 campaign. Momentum2: The Breakthrough Campaign for the University of Miami seeks to advance learning, elevate scholarship, and make bold strides in health care in the community, across the country, and around the world.
The University of Miami’s mission is to educate and nurture students, to create knowledge, and to provide service to our community and beyond. Committed to excellence and proud of our diversity of our University family, we strive to develop future leaders of our nation and the world.
JDi Data contributed to the Frankino Foundation’s Cleft Lip and Palate Challenge. This challenge was put together by the Cleft Lip and Palate Education and Research Fund in the Division of Plastic Anesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Cleft Lip/Palate affects 6,800+ newborns in the US every year. Cleft affects speech, facial development and much more. Donations will helps to support education and prevention, and help fund research efforts to improve advanced surgical techniques
Ranging from outright gifts to detailed estate planning, there are as many giving options as there are great reasons to support the University. Your gift can be tailored to reflect your lifestyle, financial and family considerations, personal goals, and priorities. Learn more ways to give here – http://www6.miami.edu/Momentum2/give.html
