RIMS Broward Chapter Meeting: “Ethics & Negotiations”

The Broward County Chapter of the Risk Management Society (RIMS) will be hosting an educational meeting on negotiating settlements, with a focus on unrepresented parties. By adhering to the standards of care, as defined in the Adjuster Code of Ethics, negotiators will be able to prevent violations from occurring during these settlement cases.

Best practices and guidelines will be discussed in the presentation, to prevent people and adjusters from falling below industry standards, including:

  • Strategies for settlement
  • Ideas for calculating settlements effectively
  • And adhering to the Adjuster Code of Ethics Guidelines.

Additional Presentation

In addition to the general presentation, RIMS will also be offering a CEU presentation customized for Adjusters. It will be filled with valuable information that will assist them with their negotiations as well. RIMS has many members scattered across the states. They pride themselves on being able to provide their members with valuable resources to further expand their professional goals.
